My name is Dennis Uthe – better known as Knothead.

My business started as a hobby while being a night supervisor at a grocery store. The store changed hands, closed nights, and left me without a job. I became interested in wood working when my daughter was having a baby. I made a rocking horse and have been designing and building ever since.

In August of 2010 I ventured into the computer world and purchased a laser engraver.

Wendall Hanson, a friend knowledgeable in computers, made the transition a lot smoother for me but probably aged him a few years.

Custom designing is a whole lot easier now and the possibilities are endless.
